As a Health & Safety Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinate health and safety compliance across site, maintaining accurate records including risk assessments, COSHH assessments and permits to work
• Carry out regular floor walkthroughs, engaging directly with production staff to check safety procedures are being followed
• Support incident investigations and track corrective and preventive actions through to completion
• Coordinate inductions, equipment training and occupational health clinics
• Assist with internal and external audits, following up on any non-conformances
• Produce weekly and monthly KPI reports for the business

As a Health & Safety Coordinator, your experience will include:

• A background in engineering or manufacturing, with the confidence to engage shop floor teams on safety matters
• A genuine interest in health and safety; any exposure or a relevant qualification is a bonus, not a requirement
• Comfortable with Excel and general admin, keeping accurate, well-organised records
• A clear, confident communicator who can hold their own on the factory floor
