Health & Safety Administrator

Our client, a well-established and highly regarded consultancy based in Cheltenham, is looking to recruit a Health & Safety Administrator to join their growing Business Support team on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful Health & Safety Administrator should have:

• Previous administration experience, ideally within a Health & Safety, HSEQ, compliance or similar environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and confident approach.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to effectively manage a varied workload and competing priorities.
• A proactive, can-do attitude with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to getting things right.
• A genuine interest in Health & Safety and a desire to develop your knowledge and career within the sector.
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to occasionally travel to another company office.

In this role, the Health & Safety Administrator will be responsible for:

• Providing key day-to-day administrative support across a broad range of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality activities.
• Managing the health and safety inbox, responding to enquiries and ensuring requests are efficiently directed to the appropriate team members.
• Maintaining accurate compliance records, documentation and databases, ensuring information is up to date and readily accessible.
• Supporting ongoing health and safety projects, initiatives and improvements across the business.
• Assisting with routine health and safety administration, helping to ensure key actions and tasks are completed accurately and within required timescales.
• Working closely with colleagues across the business to deliver a high-quality internal support service and help promote a strong culture of health and safety best practice.
