Accounts Assistant

As an Accounts Assistant in the FMCG sector based in Bristol, you'll play a key role in managing financial records and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Description

• Process invoices, payments, and expense claims accurately and in a timely manner.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies as needed.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and maintaining records.
• Support month-end and year-end financial processes.
• Maintain accounts payable and receivable ledgers.
• Liaise with suppliers and customers to resolve payment queries.
• Provide general administrative support to the accounting team.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Profile

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

• Experience in accounting or finance, ideally within the FMCG industry.
• Knowledge of accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• An understanding of financial processes and procedures.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn.
