To undertake Void property support duties under the direction of the Voids manager.
To handle and maintain confidential and commercially sensitive information professionally.
To upload void specifications in line with schedules of work.
To act as a liaison between the Voids and lettings team and repairs business team.
To input and process payments for authorisation in accordance with financial procedures and within the limits of authorising officers.
To provide direct support and advice in resolving issues and identify and recommend improvements that may require changes in procedures.
To work independently and on own initiative on assigned work-streams; assessing and resolving issues, in line with policies and procedures, escalating more complex issues where appropriate.
Requirements
Experience of working with a range of databases, spreadsheet and information systems
Experience working with previous Councils/ Housing Associations
Experience of co-ordinating projects and working at a range of levels within organisations and externally
General knowledge of the local authority or other public sector or voluntary organisations.
Experience as a Business Support Officer previously is preferred
