Description:

About the role

As Bikeability Delivery Administrator, you'll administer Life Cycle's Bikeability programme and make sure cycle training is delivered efficiently across schools and community settings.

This is a proactive, people-focused role involving building relationships with schools and instructors, organising complex training schedules, maintaining accurate records and following up opportunities to maximise participation and achieve agreed delivery targets.

The role would suit someone who enjoys making things happen, takes pride in excellent organisation, and gains satisfaction from improving delivery year on year and bringing together the many moving parts required to deliver successful cycle training.

Much of the work follows a recurring annual cycle, so it is best suited to someone who is motivated by achieving agreed targets, strengthening relationships and helping more young people gain a life skill that benefits their health, wellbeing and the environment.

Tasks will involve:

  • Build relationships with schools and instructors
  • Promote Bikeability and encourage school participation
  • Coordinate courses, instructors, bikes and equipment
  • Maintain accurate records and booking systems
  • Monitor delivery, targets and opportunities for improvement
  • Handle bookings, cancellations, course information and invoicing
  • Support the day-to-day running of the Life Cycle office

About you

We're looking for an organised, proactive and detail-focused administrator who enjoys bringing people together and keeping things running smoothly. You'll have excellent communication skills, confidence using Microsoft Office, spreadsheets and digital systems, and the ability to build positive relationships with schools, instructors and colleagues. You'll be practical, resilient and solution-focused, with the confidence to take ownership of tasks and see them through. You'll be committed to equality, diversity and accessibility, motivated by continuous improvement, and passionate about making a positive difference to young people. Experience in training, education, logistics or community projects, and an interest in cycling or active travel, would be an advantage.

How to apply

Interviews will be held on Tuesday 8th and Wednesday 9th December in the afternoon.

Please note, we'll be inviting candidates to interview as applications come in, so early applications are encouraged.

We look forward to hearing from you!
