Temporary Trade Compliance Support Administrator

Pay: 13.00- 14.00 per hour, depending on experience (DOE)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Temporary, 6 weeks

We are currently recruiting for a Trade Compliance Support Administrator to join a busy Logistics, Supply Chain and Trade Compliance team based in Birchwood, Warrington, on a 6-week temporary contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented administrator to provide essential support to a well-established team during a period of temporary cover.

Working alongside the Logistics, Supply Chain and Trade Compliance teams, you will play an important role in supporting day-to-day operations, maintaining accurate documentation, managing shared inboxes and ensuring administrative tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.

We are looking for someone with strong administrative skills, a proactive approach and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.

• Monitor and manage shared Logistics and Trade Compliance inboxes, ensuring enquiries are handled promptly.
• Respond to routine queries and direct requests to the appropriate team members.
• Prepare, organise and maintain logistics, shipping, customs and compliance documentation.
• Review operational reports and complete follow-up actions within agreed timescales.
• Maintain accurate electronic and paper-based filing systems.
• Complete basic ERP system transactions and update records as required.
• Carry out routine data checks to ensure information is accurate and up to date.
• Retrieve documents and provide information to internal stakeholders when requested.
• Escalate discrepancies, outstanding actions or issues to the relevant team members.
• Provide general administrative support to the Logistics and Trade Compliance departments.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in an administrative, customer service, logistics or operational support role.
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
• The ability to prioritise tasks, manage workloads and meet deadlines.
• A reliable, proactive and flexible approach to work.
• The ability to follow established processes and work collaboratively within a team.

Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, import/export or trade compliance would be advantageous but is not essential.

• Competitive hourly pay of 13.00- 14.00, depending on experience.
