Looking for More Than Just an Admin Role?

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established logistics operation that is looking for a proactive and hands-on Logistics Administration Assistant to join their close-knit team in Brighouse.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a logistics, warehouse, or transport background who wants a varied role combining administration, operational support, and future leadership responsibilities.

Working within a team of four, you'll be a key part of the day-to-day operation, supporting warehouse activities, managing logistics systems, and acting as a deputy for the site leader when required.

The Role

This isn't a traditional office-based administration position, nor is it a pure warehouse role.

You'll split your time between logistics administration, system management, customer and supplier communication, and supporting warehouse operations when needed.

Key Responsibilities

Managing warehouse and transport management systems

Coordinating stock and shipment movements

Liaising with customers, suppliers, local production teams, and global partners

Supporting health & safety processes across the site

Producing reports and maintaining accurate operational records

Assisting warehouse staff during busy periods

Operating a Counterbalance FLT where required

Providing supervisory support and overseeing the team in the manager's absence

Contributing to continuous improvement across warehouse and logistics operations

What We're Looking For

Previous experience within logistics, warehousing, transport, or supply chain operations

Strong administration and organisational skills

Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel and email systems

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks

Counterbalance FLT licence preferred, although training may be considered

SAP Warehouse Management experience would be advantageous

A positive attitude and willingness to learn
