Description:	Operations Administrator Stratford-upon-Avon £25,000 - £30,000 DOE Full Time Permanent 37.5 Hours per Week Join a unique organisation where no two days are the same Our client is one of Stratford-upon-Avon's most treasured visitor attractions, offering guests a unique historical and educational experience. We're looking for a proactive, enthusiastic and adaptable Business Support Associate to join our clients small but dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a hands on environment and is keen to develop their skills across multiple areas of a business. Working closely with the General Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day to day running of the attraction while supporting its ongoing growth and success. You'll have ownership of several important areas of the business and, over time, will have the opportunity to broaden your experience and develop expertise across operations, events, finance, visitor services and people management. We need someone who: Is flexible, adaptable and happy to take on new challenges Enjoys learning new skills and developing across different areas of a business Is highly organised and able to manage competing priorities Takes a proactive approach and enjoys solving problems Is a genuine team player who is happy to support colleagues wherever needed Values the contribution of volunteers and enjoys building positive relationships Has excellent customer service skills and is passionate about delivering outstanding visitor experiences Key Responsibilities You'll support the organisation across a range of areas, including: Visitor Experience & Operations Ensuring visitor services run smoothly across the site Supporting visitor information, health & safety and maintenance activities Managing consumables and operational supplies Helping to deliver an excellent experience for all visitors Retail & Commercial Activities Managing the retail operation and stock control Supporting business development activities and promotional initiatives Coordinating group bookings and sales opportunities Finance & Administration Supporting commercial and finance related activities Maintaining accurate records and administrative processes Events Assisting with the planning, coordination and delivery of events Providing support for occasional events outside normal working hours People & Volunteer Support Supporting the recruitment, training and scheduling of front-of-house staff, schoolmasters and volunteer guides Building strong relationships with volunteers and helping them feel valued and supported Working collaboratively with colleagues and external stakeholders Skills & Experience Essential Experience in a customer facing or operational role Strong organisational and administrative skills Confident IT user with the ability to learn new systems and processes Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Flexible, adaptable and willing to learn Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Desirable Experience within the heritage, cultural, tourism or arts sector Experience of working with or supporting volunteers Experience of rota management, ticketing or booking systems Why this job?
