About the Role

Our client is seeking an organised and proactive HR Shared Services Administrator to join a busy and collaborative HR team based in London. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys delivering a high-quality service to employees and managers across the business.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting HR operations, ensuring HR processes are delivered efficiently, accurately, and in line with company policies and employment legislation.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the continuous improvement of HR processes and procedures.
• Manage administration throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contractual changes, and offboarding.
• Act as the first point of contact for employee HR queries, providing professional and timely support.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Produce regular HR reports and management information using HR systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Coordinate and support new starter inductions and onboarding activities.
• Monitor probationary periods and liaise with managers regarding reviews and outcomes.
• Provide first-line guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employment-related matters.
• Ensure all HR processes comply with GDPR and data protection requirements.
• Support the wider HR team with projects and operational activities as required.

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience within an HR Administration, HR Shared Services, or HR Support role.
• CIPD qualification or working towards CIPD accreditation is desirable.
• Experience using HR systems such as SAP, SuccessFactors, or similar platforms would be advantageous.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with data and reporting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Good understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Able to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment.
• Positive attitude with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience of working within FMCG would be ideal
