Project Coordinator - Client & Creative Projects

Location: Manchester - Office Based
Salary: 26,000- 30,000
Hours: Monday-Thursday 9:00am-5:30pm Friday 9:00am-4:30pm
Contract: Permanent, Full Time

We're recruiting for an established Manchester business operating within a specialist, high-end international market.

They're looking for a Project Coordinator to join their team - but this isn't a traditional admin-heavy coordination role.

It's a combination of project management, client relationships, commercial responsibility and creativity.

You'll work directly with clients, understanding what they're looking for, helping them make decisions and advising them on premium and luxury products. You'll then coordinate everything behind the scenes to make sure the project is delivered properly.

You need to be organised - there are multiple projects, suppliers, orders, costs and deadlines to manage - but you also need a creative eye and genuine interest in beautiful, high-quality products.

You'll be involved throughout the client journey, including:

• Building strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Understanding individual requirements, tastes and preferences.
• Advising clients and helping them select luxury products.
• Using your creativity and judgement to make appropriate recommendations.
• Sourcing and specifying products.
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Preparing costs, processing orders and invoicing.
• Liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
• Monitoring orders and keeping projects on schedule.
• Keeping clients informed throughout.
• Attending client meetings, presentations and supplier visits.
• Occasional UK and international travel.

You'll be representing a premium business, so the way you communicate, present ideas and look after clients really matters.

We're open-minded about where you've gained your experience. You don't necessarily need to have worked as a Project Coordinator before.

You do need previous commercial/business experience, alongside the confidence to work directly with clients.

You'll ideally be:

• Creative, with a good eye for style, quality and detail.
• Interested in premium/luxury products and able to develop strong product knowledge.
• Comfortable advising clients rather than simply taking instructions.
• Confident, articulate and personable.
• Highly organised and capable of juggling several projects.
• Commercially aware and comfortable working with costs.
• Strong on detail and accuracy.
• Calm when deadlines are tight.
• Professional and well presented.
• Confident using Microsoft Office.
• Looking for a business where you can develop and build a long-term career.

People from project coordination, interiors, showrooms, buying, merchandising, visual merchandising, premium retail, account management, client services or product-led businesses could all have relevant transferable experience.

A full driving licence is required, and there will be some flexibility required for occasional travel.

26,000- 30,000, depending on experience, plus 25 days' annual leave, company pension and an earlier finish on Fridays.
