Description:

Part-Time Compliance & TOBA Administrator

Location: London (Office-based, 3 days per week)

Salary: £45,000 for 3 days work per week (£75,000 full time equivalent)

Contract: Permanent

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, small boutique Lloyd's insurance broker based in London. They are seeking an experienced Compliance & TOBA Administrator to join their team on a permanent, part-time basis, working three days per week from their London office.

To be absolutely clear, the job is 3 days of work per week (part-time), but ALL 3 days will be office based in London. The annual salary paid for the 3 days per week will be £45,000 (the equivalent to £75,000 for a full time role 5 days per week).

The successful candidate must have insurance experience.

You will have a nice handover from an existing experienced compliance professional. Once you are confident enough and competent enough to hold the fort on your own, the existing compliance professional will complete the handover.

This role would suit an experienced insurance compliance professional looking for a part-time opportunity, whether you're returning to work after a career break, seeking greater work-life balance, or reducing your working hours.

As this role will eventually pivot to a standalone role with minimal supervision, the successful candidate will need to be confident working independently and able to make an immediate impact.

Essential Experience

  • Previous experience working within the insurance market, ideally with a Lloyd's broker.
  • Strong compliance experience within the insurance sector.
  • Proven experience managing Terms of Business Agreements (TOBAs).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal training or supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a one-off project to organise and review all existing TOBAs.
  • Manage the ongoing administration and due diligence requirements relating to TOBAs, including responding to broker requests and maintaining documentation.
  • Oversee licensing requirements for brokers operating within South America.
  • Carry out FinScan clearances, sanctions screening, adverse media checks and other compliance-related due diligence.
  • Produce Risk & Compliance reports using existing templates.
  • Monitor and manage compliance tasks through the Atlas system.
  • Keep up to date with regulatory developments affecting a Lloyd's insurance broker and help ensure ongoing compliance.

Salary & Benefits

  • £45,000 per annum (equivalent to £75,000 full time).
  • Company benefits provided on a pro rata basis.
  • Permanent, part-time position.

If you have the required insurance compliance and TOBA experience and are looking for a flexible part-time opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.
