We are working with an established construction business in Glasgow who are looking to recruit a Business Administrator / Commercial Assistant to support their office, site and commercial teams.

This is a varied position suited to an organised and proactive individual with experience in construction administration, commercial support or a similar environment.

Key Responsibilities

• General office and construction administration.
• Supporting site teams and maintaining accurate records.
• Managing supplier approvals, audits and compliance documentation.
• Coordinating permits, welfare, skips and equipment hire.
• Maintaining site, delivery and vehicle documentation.
• Managing tender invitations, submissions and tender logs.
• Assisting with PQQs, ESPDs and bid documentation.
• Obtaining supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Supporting the commercial team with orders and business development.
• Assisting with H&S, CDM and ISO requirements.
• Updating company website and social media.

About You

• Previous construction administration or commercial experience preferred.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication and IT skills.
• Confident liaising with site teams, suppliers and clients.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Proactive and professional approach.

Location: Glasgow
