NuStaff is recruiting on behalf of a client seeking a Welsh Speaking Receptionist to join their client on a fixed-term basis. This is a great opportunity for an organised, detail-focused administrator to provide efficient support within a busy policing environment.

The Role

You'll provide administrative and transactional support to the Corporate Finance business area, helping deliver a high-quality, efficient service to both internal teams and external customers. Working across a range of internal systems, you'll ensure processes run smoothly and accurately day to day.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing efficient, timely transactional support to the Finance business area
  • Using internal and national systems effectively to support day-to-day operations
  • Delivering high-quality support to frontline and internal services
  • Developing a broad range of skills to support flexibility and resilience within the team
  • Providing timely, professional advice to other business areas and external customers
  • Undertaking administrative and transactional tasks as directed
  • Maintaining confidentiality across all internal and external communications
  • Keeping internal systems accurately maintained and updated in line with business processes
  • Complying with relevant policies, including Data Protection, Health & Safety, and Equal Opportunities

What You'll Need

Essential:

  • The ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh to Level 3
  • GCSEs Grade A-C in Mathematics and English Language, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • A high degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail
  • Previous experience delivering excellent customer service, internally and externally
  • A practical, solution-focused approach to problem solving
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective keyboard and data inputting skills
  • Willingness to complete all required training and assessments

Hours & Pay

  • Fixed-Term Contract (until 31st December, possible extension)
  • Monday-Friday, 8.30am-4pm
  • Pay Rate: £13.45ph PAYE / £17.69ph Umbrella
