Description: We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, family-run car dealership group based in Orpington, Kent, for the position of Sales Administrator. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to join a reputable business that values its staff and offers clear career progression. The Sales Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team, ensuring the smooth operation of sales processes, and maintaining excellent customer relations. This position offers a competitive salary, typically 30,000 OTE, and a supportive working environment.

Duties of the Sales Administrator:
  • Managing sales documentation and processing vehicle sales
  • Handling customer enquiries professionally and promptly
  • Ensuring compliance with dealership processes and procedures
  • Maintaining accurate records using CRM systems
  • Assisting with general office administration related to sales
  • Supporting the sales team with reporting and analytics when required
  • Contributing to a positive customer experience throughout the sales process
Requirements of the Sales Administrator:
  • Proven experience in sales support or administration within the motor trade or a related industry
  • Strong knowledge of CRM systems and proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Excellent organisational skills and keen attention to detail
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage multiple tasks
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and customer-focused attitude
  • Experience with dealership management systems such as Kerridge, CDK, or Pinnacle (preferred)
  • Basic understanding of automotive sales processes and finance procedures (desired)
  • GCSEs or equivalent in English and Mathematics; further qualifications in business administration are advantageous
  • Willingness to support occasional weekend work on a rota basis
  • A positive team player with a professional approach
