Are you an experienced Dispatch Administrator looking for your next opportunity?

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Dispatch Administrator to join a busy manufacturing and distribution operation in Forfar. This role requires someone who can confidently step into a fast-paced environment and take ownership of dispatch administration activities from day one.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-focused individual who enjoys working in a fast-moving operational environment, ensuring products are dispatched accurately, efficiently and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the dispatch and transportation of goods to customers.
• Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and delivered within agreed timescales.
• Maintain accurate dispatch records, documentation and system updates.
• Produce dispatch reports and analyse operational data.
• Process and verify transport invoices and associated paperwork.
• Liaise with transport providers, customers and internal departments to ensure smooth delivery operations.
• Support operational reporting and administrative activities.
• Provide general administration support to the wider operations team as required.

Essential Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Previous Dispatch Administration, Dispatch Coordinator or Dispatch Planning experience.
• Experience working within a logistics, transport, warehouse, manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive approach and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
