Are you an organised and proactive administrator looking for a varied role with genuine career development opportunities?

We're recruiting a Sales Administrator to join a successful and growing manufacturer of automotive components and classic car parts. Working within a friendly and supportive team, you'll play a key role in supporting customer service, sales administration and wider commercial activities across a portfolio of well-established brands.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous administration, sales support or customer service experience who enjoys a fast-paced environment and wants to develop their career within a successful business.

The Role

As a Sales Administrator, you'll support the day-to-day running of the commercial function, ensuring customers receive an excellent experience while helping the wider team deliver efficient sales and operational processes.

Key responsibilities include:

Sales Administration

• Processing customer orders and updating information within SAP and online ordering systems.
• Managing customer backorders and proactively chasing outstanding orders.
• Producing warehouse pick lists to support daily dispatch activities.
• Supporting online order fulfilment and coordinating deliveries.

Customer Service & Support

• Acting as the first point of contact for customer enquiries, providing professional telephone and email support.
• Ensuring customer requests are handled promptly and professionally.
• Processing returns and supporting aftersales activities.

Systems & Business Support

• Maintaining accurate customer information across business systems.
• Supporting SAP, CRM and website data maintenance.
• Uploading pricing information and managing system updates.
• Liaising with external software and IT providers when required.

Marketing & Commercial Support

• Assisting with customer communications and marketing campaigns.
• Supporting promotional activities, events and customer visits.
• Providing wider commercial support and contributing to business improvement projects.

About You

We're looking for someone who is organised, professional and enjoys working with both customers and colleagues.

You'll ideally have:

• Experience in a Sales Administrator, Sales Support, Customer Service, Commercial Administration or Business Support role.
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Confident communication skills with a professional approach.
• Good Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and Word.
• The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• A positive, flexible and team-focused attitude.

Experience of SAP or a similar ERP system would be beneficial but is not essential, as full training will be provided.

You don't need automotive experience to be successful in this role. We're looking for somebody with the right attitude, strong organisational skills and a genuine desire to learn.
