Sales Operations Coordinator

We re recruiting for an Operations Coordinator to join a successful and growing sales-led business. This is not a sales role. Instead, you ll sit behind the sales team and make sure everything that happens after a sale has been agreed is completed accurately, efficiently and compliantly. Your role is to take on everything that isn't making the sale happen away from the sales consultants so they can focus on winning more orders. You need great written and verbal English language skills, to be very well organised, and to be comfortable with a variety of different IT systems. You don't need to have worked in a sales role previously (nor want to!) although it could be beneficial.

Sales Operations Coordinator - The Role - Back Office, Commercial, Sales Administration, Compliance, Contracts

You ll be responsible for managing the administrative process once the sales team has secured a deal, including:
Preparing, generating and reviewing contracts and associated documentation
Checking sales paperwork for accuracy and completeness and ensuring contracts meet internal compliance requirements
Managing documentation and maintaining accurate records, including liaising with the sales team to resolve missing or incorrect information
Carrying out checks, audits and quality control on completed work
Assisting with some basic finance-related administration where required

Sales Operations Coordinator - The Person - Back Office, Commercial, Sales Administration, Compliance, Contracts

You don t need to have been a salesperson, but you should understand how a sales environment operates and be comfortable working closely with salespeople.
You ll ideally have experience in a role such as Sales Support, Sales Administration, Commercial Administration, Operations, Contract Administration or Back Office Support.
Most importantly, you ll be highly organised with excellent attention to detail, comfortable checking contracts, paperwork and documentation, and confident working within established processes and compliance requirements.
You ll need to be able to manage a busy workload, spot mistakes or inconsistencies, communicate effectively with the sales team and make sure work is completed accurately and on time.
Experience using CRM systems, Microsoft Office and other business systems is required.

This role would suit someone who enjoys being the person behind the scenes who keeps everything running properly. You ll play an important role in making sure deals are processed correctly, contracts are accurate and the sales team has the operational support they need to focus on winning new business.
