Maintenance Administrator

Salary: £26,000 £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience) with regular salary reviews.

This is an excellent opportunity to join MNM Property Services, a well-established housing maintenance contractor operating within the social housing sector.

The Role

We are seeking a Maintenance Administrator to support and coordinate the day-to-day administrative function within one of our Property Services teams. This role is suited to someone with social housing maintenance experience who can take ownership of job flow, support operational delivery, and act as a key point of contact between operatives, clients, and residents.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating the administration of responsive and planned maintenance works.
• Booking, scheduling, and monitoring repair and maintenance jobs from start to completion.
• Managing operatives diaries, workloads, and appointments to support KPI delivery.
• Acting as a key point of contact for client and resident enquiries.
• Supporting supervisors and contract managers with reporting and administrative tasks.
• Liaising with clients, subcontractors, operatives, and internal teams.
• Proactively identifying and resolving issues to maintain service delivery.
• Supporting junior administrators where required.
• Maintaining high standards of data accuracy and compliance.

About You

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Administrator or in a similar role.
• Previous experience within the social housing maintenance sector is a bonus.
• Knowledge of SORs (Schedule of Rates) is a bonus.
• Experience booking and managing high-volume maintenance jobs.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and maintenance management systems.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• A proactive, solution-focused and can-do attitude.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
