Site Administrator Long-Term Temporary Opportunity (Project Expected to Run Until 2029)

Location: East Lothian
Projected Start Date: End of August 2026
Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 40 hours per week
  • Flexible working hours between 7:00am and 6:00pm, agreed with the site team

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Site Administrator to join a major infrastructure project in East Lothian. The initial phase of the project is scheduled to run from August 2026 to March 2027, with further phases planned through to 2029, offering excellent long-term continuity and stability.

Working closely with the site management team, you will provide vital administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of a busy construction site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcoming visitors to site and managing the sign-in process
  • Coordinating meeting room bookings and supporting site logistics
  • Managing deliveries and maintaining accurate site records
  • Processing and uploading site timesheets and project documentation
  • Providing administrative support to the wider project team
  • Maintaining organised filing systems and ensuring documentation is kept up to date
  • Assisting with general office and site administration duties

About You

  • Previous administration experience is essential
  • Experience within the construction or engineering sector would be advantageous
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
  • A confident communicator with a professional and proactive approach
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Able to work independently while supporting a busy site team
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own transport is essential, as the site is not accessible by public transport
