Job Title: Compound Logistics Administrator

Location: Marchwood

Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Perm

Pay Rate: 12.91/hr basic Overtime available after 40 hours

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 15:30

We are recruiting a organized, proactive Logistics Administrator to join our busy operations team based in Marchwood. Working at the heart of our site operations, you will be the key link between our yard team, driver operations, and office systems.

This is a fantastic Temp-to-Perm opportunity, offering a clear pathway to secure a long-term, permanent contract with an industry-leading business.

• System & Vehicle Data Entry: Logging vehicle arrivals and departures, scanning records, and updating our inventory management software in real time.

• Driver & Yard Coordination: Assisting compound drivers with keys, location assignments, and daily route/parking sheets.

• Documentation & Compliance: Preparing gate passes, delivery paperwork, and recording quality inspection reports.

• Operational Support: Answering internal calls, resolving vehicle tracking queries, and keeping the wider yard and management teams aligned.

• Administrative Experience: Previous experience in a logistics, warehouse, transport, or office administration environment is preferred.

• Tech & Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) with the ability to quickly learn bespoke vehicle-tracking databases.

• Attention to Detail: High accuracy when entering vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs), registration codes, and site data.

• Strong Communication: Friendly and confident tone when dealing with drivers, site managers, and clients.

• Reliability & Punctuality: A dependable work ethic to keep morning operations running smoothly from 07:00.

• Great Daytime Schedule: 07:00 - 15:30 working hours give you your evenings back, with weekends off.
