Health & Safety Assistant

Our client, a well-established and growing organisation based in the Cirencester area, is looking to recruit a Health & Safety Administrator to join their HSEQ team on a full-time, permanent basis due to continued business growth. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised administrator with experience supporting health and safety or compliance activities who is looking to build on their existing knowledge within a supportive and collaborative environment.

The successful Health & Safety Administrator should have:

• Previous administration experience within a Health & Safety, HSEQ or compliance-based role.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and other office systems.
• A keen eye for detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• A proactive, professional approach with excellent communication skills.

In this role, the Health & Safety Administrator will be responsible for:

• Providing administrative support to the HSEQ team across a range of health, safety and compliance activities.
• Maintaining accurate records, compliance documentation, training logs and internal databases.
• Assisting with audits, inspections, incident reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Preparing reports, meeting documentation, minutes and compliance paperwork.
• Coordinating PPE, certification records and supporting wider environmental and quality projects.

Our client is offering the successful Health & Safety Administrator a salary of £30,000 - £33,000 alongside an excellent benefits package, hybrid working (2-3 days from home), and the opportunity to develop within a growing business.
