£28,000 - £32,000 plus bonuses, free lunch, parking etc.

Tony Alan Recruitment currently has an exciting job opportunity for a Telemarketer / Business Development Administrator to join a leading and growing business based in the Dartford area on a permanent contract.

You will be responsible for generating new sales opportunities through proactive outbound engagement with schools, councils, and other relevant organisations across the UK.

The role is focused on working through the CRM database to identify, contact, and qualify potential projects for the business. This includes making high-quality outbound calls, engaging decision-makers, clearly communicating the business proposition, and securing qualified face-to-face meetings for the Project Consultant team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively work through the CRM database to identify and prioritise target organisations.
• Make outbound calls to current and prospective clients.
• Identify key decision-makers and establish initial contact.
• Engage prospects to understand needs, timelines, budgets, and project potential.
• Qualify opportunities against agreed criteria before passing to Project Consultants.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions within the CRM system.
• Build a pipeline of viable, qualified opportunities.
• Secure face-to-face meetings for Project Consultants with relevant decision-makers.
• Track activity, outcomes, and conversion metrics consistently.
• Identify trends, opportunities, and gaps within the database.
• Work closely with Project Consultants to ensure smooth handover of opportunities.
• Contribute to refining messaging, targeting, and outreach strategies.

Key Requirements:

• Strong communication and telephone-based sales skills
• Confident engaging with decision-makers
• Ability to build rapport quickly and clearly articulate value
• Organised and detail-oriented with CRM systems
• Resilient, self-motivated, and target-driven
• Previous experience in sales, telesales, or business development (preferred).
