Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am 12:00pm (20 hours per week)
Pay: £12.71 per hour

We're recruiting for a Technical Lab Administrator to join a friendly and supportive laboratory team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys administration, thrives in a structured environment and takes pride in accuracy.

Working closely with the laboratory team, you'll play a key role in ensuring samples are booked in correctly, records are maintained and everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Duties

As the Technical Lab Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Booking laboratory samples accurately into the Laboratory Management System and Acumatica
  • Preparing and printing sample labels and supporting documentation
  • Verifying customer information and sample details
  • Maintaining accurate laboratory records
  • Supporting the laboratory team with day-to-day administration
  • Ensuring documentation is completed accurately and efficiently
What we would like from you

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has good IT skills and is confident using computer systems
  • Has excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Is organised and able to prioritise their workload
  • Has good written and verbal communication skills
  • Can work independently whilst also being a supportive team member
  • Has previous administration experience (laboratory experience would be an advantage but isn't essential)

Above all, we're looking for someone who enjoys working in a structured environment, is reliable and takes pride in producing accurate work.
