Salon Receptionist / Manager Location Niamo Nails, 2 Spring Street, London W2 3RA Job Type Full-time, permanent position. About Niamo Nails Niamo Nails is a boutique nail salon in Bayswater, London, known for its high standard of finish, warm client experience, and excellent reputation with a loyal, growing clientele. We are looking for an organised, personable Salon Receptionist / Manager to be the welcoming face of the salon and to help keep day-to-day operations running smoothly. The Role This is a hybrid front-of-house and operational role, ideal for someone who enjoys client-facing work as much as staying on top of the administrative and organisational side of running a busy salon. You will be the first point of contact for clients, manage bookings, and support the smooth day-to-day running of the salon, working closely with the salon owner and technicians. Key Responsibilities - Warmly greet and welcome clients, ensuring a professional and friendly first impression
- Manage the appointment booking system (Fresha), including scheduling, confirmations, and rebookings
- Handle client enquiries in person, by phone, and online, responding promptly and professionally
- Take payments and manage end-of-day reconciliations and till procedures
- Oversee day-to-day salon operations, including stock levels, supply ordering, and supplier liaison
- Support rota planning and coordination of technician schedules
- Ensure the reception and salon areas are kept clean, tidy, and presentable at all times
- Handle client feedback and any concerns promptly and professionally, escalating where necessary
- Support marketing and loyalty scheme administration, including the salon's referral and stamp card schemes
- Assist with onboarding of new staff and ensure salon policies and standards are maintained
- Support the salon owner with basic administrative and compliance tasks as required
What We're Looking For - Previous experience in a receptionist, salon management, or customer-facing role, ideally within beauty or hospitality
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Confident, friendly, and professional communication skills, both in person and on the phone
- Experience using booking software (Fresha experience a strong advantage)
- A proactive, can-do attitude with strong attention to detail
- Basic administrative and numeracy skills, including handling payments and reconciliations
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable taking ownership of day-to-day salon operations
- Right to work in the UK
