The Company: A well-established, independent whole of market financial planning practice looking to appoint an experienced Senior Financial Planning Administrator to their Sheffield office. Supporting a collaborative team of Advisers and Paraplanners, this is a varied opportunity suited to someone who enjoys being involved across the full financial planning process, covering pensions, investments, protection and estate planning whilst also taking ownership of the day-to-day administration function.

Package: £33-35k base + full company benefits:

The Role: A varied Senior Financial Planning Administration/Office Management role providing administrative and operational support to a busy team of Financial Advisers and Paraplanners. Key accountabilities include:

  • Process new business applications from submission through to completion
  • Manage existing business transactions including withdrawals, contributions and fund switches
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records using Intelliflo (IO)
  • Proactively manage ongoing cases and progress workflows efficiently
  • Prepare documentation and information for annual client reviews
  • Liaise with providers to obtain policy information and progress outstanding cases
  • Support Financial Advisers and Paraplanners with administrative and client servicing requirements
  • Handle inbound client and provider telephone enquiries
  • Carry out general office administration to support the wider team
  • Assist with compliance monitoring and regulatory documentation
  • Ensure client records and documentation remain accurate and FCA compliant
  • Build strong relationships with providers and internal stakeholders to ensure positive client outcomes

The Person: Previous experience working as a Senior Financial Planning Administrator and/or Office Manager within an independent financial planning or wealth management environment is essential, alongside strong working knowledge of Intelliflo (Intelligent Office/IO). The successful individual will be highly organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple cases simultaneously whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail.
