Legal Receptionist

Location: Glasgow City Centre (Office Based)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm

The salary for this role is negotiable depending on experience, at around 25,000 - 28,000 per annum.

We are seeking a confident, professional and highly organised Receptionist to join a busy and growing professional legal firm based in Glasgow City Centre.

As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience from the moment someone engages with the business. This is more than a front desk position, you will also provide valuable administrative support to internal teams, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office.

• Welcoming clients and visitors in a warm, professional manner.

• Managing meeting room bookings and ensuring rooms are prepared for meetings.

• Maintaining a tidy, organised and welcoming reception area.

• Answering and directing incoming telephone calls efficiently.

• Monitoring and responding to shared email inboxes.

• Processing payments securely over the phone and online.

• Providing administrative support, including setting up new matters/files and maintaining accurate records within internal systems.

• Assisting with document handling, scanning and general office administration.

• Liaising with colleagues across departments to support the smooth running of the office.

• Maintaining confidentiality and complying with company policies and procedures.

We're looking for someone who understands the importance of creating a positive first impression and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service.

You will ideally have:

• A minimum of two years' experience in a client-facing reception or front-of-house role.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• A calm, confident and professional approach.

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

• A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of responsibilities.

• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and telephone systems.

• A genuine passion for providing excellent customer service.

Desirable (but not essential):

• Experience working within a legal or professional services environment.

• Experience using CRM or case management systems.
