Description:

We re looking for a Quality Lead for a 12 months FTC / Secondment to help maintain high standards across our Connect to Work contracts. This is a key role in safeguarding service quality and ensuring compliance with the Supported Employment Quality Framework (SEQF) and contractual requirements.

As the Quality Lead you will be working closely with the Fidelity Assurance Manager, you ll carry out routine quality checks, support operational teams to evidence best practice, and ensure audit readiness across multiple contracts. If you have a keen eye for detail, strong compliance experience, and enjoy working collaboratively to uphold standards, we d love to hear from you.



You ll be responsible for completing routine quality assurance activities, including participant file checks, employer engagement reviews, and compliance audits. This involves ensuring all documentation meets SEQF and contractual standards, recording findings accurately, and escalating risks where necessary. You ll support operational teams in understanding and implementing quality requirements, track and follow up on actions arising from quality checks, and prepare for audits by maintaining complete and well-evidenced files. Additionally, you ll promote consistent compliance practices across teams to uphold the highest standards of service delivery.



We re looking for someone with proven experience in quality assurance, contract compliance, or a similar role, combined with strong attention to detail and analytical skills. You ll have excellent communication abilities, capable of explaining complex requirements clearly and concisely, and experience interpreting compliance standards and producing high-quality reports.

Location: Remote

Hours: 37 hours a week. Monday to Thursday 8.30 am to 5pm, Friday 8.30 am to 4.30pm

Contract duration: 12 months

Key Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Fidelity Assurance Manager, the Quality Lead will:

  • Lead and coordinate quality assurance activities across Connect to Work contracts, including:
    • Monthly participant quality file checks
    • Employer engagement quality checks
    • Quality improvement planning and monitoring
    • Internal quality audits and thematic reviews
  • Ensure documentation, delivery practice and evidence meet agreed SEQF, BASE and contractual quality standards.
  • Analyse quality assurance findings to identify strengths, trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Produce clear quality reports, action plans and recommendations to support continuous improvement.
  • Support Team Leaders and operational managers to embed quality standards and improve practice.
  • Monitor and track quality improvement actions, ensuring timely completion and measurable impact.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Experience in quality assurance, quality improvement or quality management.
  • Experience of conducting quality reviews, audits or observations and producing improvement-focused reports.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and support operational teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative data to drive improvement.
  • Experience of identifying themes, risks and development opportunities from quality assurance activity.
  • Ability to translate complex quality requirements into practical guidance, processes and resources.
  • Experience of producing action plans and monitoring improvement activity.
  • Proven ability to lead and support change initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
