Job Title: IFA Administrator

Location: Kings Norton, Birmingham

Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 DOE

About the Company:

Our client is a well-established and growing financial planning firm with multiple offices across the region. They pride themselves on delivering exceptional client service and fostering a supportive, team-oriented working environment. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an IFA Administrator to join their Kings Norton office and provide essential support to advisers and the wider administration team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with previous financial services administration experience who is looking to develop their career within a professional and expanding business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to Financial Advisers and the wider team.
  • Process new business applications and maintain accurate client records.
  • Utilise Intelligent Office (IO) and other industry platforms to manage client information and workflow.
  • Liaise with product providers and third parties to obtain information and updates.
  • Prepare and issue client documentation and correspondence.
  • Maintain compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with general office administration duties.
  • Support the Administration Manager and provide cover during periods of annual leave.
  • Ensure all client records and files are maintained accurately and efficiently.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience within a Financial Services or IFA administration environment.
  • Experience using Intelligent Office (IO) is essential.
  • Strong IT skills and confidence using multiple systems and platforms.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
  • Reliable, proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to working in a fully office-based role.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience working within an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) practice.
  • Knowledge of investment, pension and protection products.
  • Familiarity with a range of provider and platform systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • Ambition to progress within the financial planning profession.
