Join our Client, Sheffield City Council within Children's Services as a Personal Assistant. This role is perfect for an experienced administrator looking to advance their career in a supportive and dynamic environment. As a Personal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in managing administrative tasks and ensuring efficient operations, contributing significantly to our commitment to excellence in service delivery.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage and organise the inbox, ensuring efficient communication flow.
  • Handle Outlook diary appointments, arrange meetings, and organise worker supervisions.
  • Upload and manage content on social care software and SharePoint.
  • Record and transcribe supervisions and meetings using advanced documentation skills.
  • Manage room bookings, travel arrangements, and calendar overviews to avoid clashes and ensure smooth scheduling.
  • Process new starters and leavers, and handle IT requests.
  • Collect and manage performance data, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the service.
  • Provide customer service support to both internal and external customers, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a similar setting.
  • Proficiency in IT systems including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage confidential information, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Flexibility in work location and adaptability to changing priorities.
