Role Details
Position: Band 2 Administrative Support
Department: Pathology
Location: Hull
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities
Typing macroscopy and microscopy reports for the Cellular Pathology department
Providing administrative support to the wider pathology team
Ensuring accurate and timely data entry and document processing
Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive patient information appropriately
Supporting departmental workflow and general office administration duties
Essential Requirements
Previous administrative or medical secretarial experience preferred
Excellent typing and audio transcription skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced healthcare environment
Good communication and organisational skills
Knowledge or experience within pathology or medical terminology would be advantageous
