Your new company
You will be joining the Belfast Health & Social Care Trust, working within the Northern Ireland Degree in Social Work Partnership (NIDSWP). This regional partnership supports the delivery of high-quality social work education across Northern Ireland. You'll be part of a dedicated administrative team providing essential support to ensure the smooth running of this important service.
Your new role
As an Administrator / Clerical Support Officer, you will provide day-to-day administrative and secretarial support to the NIDSWP team. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as a first point of contact for telephone, email, and face-to-face enquiries
  • Managing shared inboxes, prioritising and directing communications
  • Providing diary management and meeting support, including agenda preparation and minute taking
  • Producing high-quality documents such as reports, letters, memos and forms
  • Maintaining accurate electronic and paper filing systems
  • Supporting regional meetings, training sessions, and events
  • Ensuring all information is handled in line with GDPR and Trust policies

  • This is a part-time position requiring 20 hours per week, worked over two full days and one half day.
    What you'll need to succeed
    To excel in this role, you will need:
  • Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role
  • Strong communication and customer-service skills
  • Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office packages (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Experience producing professional documents and taking minutes
  • Ability to work as part of a team and manage your own workload
  • A commitment to confidentiality, data protection and Trust values
