Medical Receptionist

My client are currently recruiting for an experienced Medical Receptionist to support a busy medical practice on a temporary basis. This role is to cover a period of sickness absence and will be for an initial 6-week assignment.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pmPay rate: £15 per hour

The Role

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the practice. Duties will include:

• Managing reception duties and welcoming patients
• Answering calls, booking appointments, and handling patient queries
• Accurately updating patient records
• Using EMIS and Docman systems daily
• Providing administrative support to clinicians and the wider team

Essential Experience

• Previous experience working within a medical or healthcare environment
• Confident user of EMIS and Docman (essential)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A professional and patient-focused approach
