Job Title: Transport Administrator

Location: Rochester

Salary: £13.50 per hour

Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (7:00am - 7:00pm)

Job Overview:

We are looking for a reliable and organised Transport Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of our transport and logistics function. This role is key in ensuring smooth coordination between drivers, warehouse teams, and customers while maintaining accurate records and high service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and schedule vehicle movements and deliveries
• Communicate with drivers regarding routes, delays, and updates
• Maintain accurate transport and delivery records
• Process delivery paperwork and ensure compliance with procedures
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery
• Handle customer and internal queries in a professional manner
• Support the transport team with general administrative duties
• Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and on time

Requirements:

• Previous administrative experience (transport or logistics preferred)
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office
• Attention to detail and accuracy
