Receptionist - one year Fixed Term Contract

This is a fabulous contract opportunity to work in a wonderful private members club in Mayfair.We have worked with this client for many years and it is a wonderful place to work :o)You will be part of a dedicated team who meet and greet and assist the members who you will get to know.Job Description

• To meet and greet all members and guests on entering the Club
• To host the restaurant and lounges and assist with drinks service
• To ensure the in-house Guests are shown to their bedroom.
• To introduce the bedroom and present its main features to the guests staying overnight.
• To present and offer concierge services to our Members.
• To actively upsell bedrooms when required.
• To actively promote the Club's private areas and outlets.
• To answer all incoming calls in a professional manner and to direct them to the relevant departments or take messages to be relayed
• To ensure exceptional levels of customer service at all times
• To ensure that all restaurant enquiries are dealt with professionally and any special requests are communicated
• To ensure all the shoe polish, pressing and dry cleaning enquiries are dealt with promptly and efficiently
• To communicate fully with the housekeeping team when a Member is leaving the Club in order to allow them to access the bedroom.
• To ensure total confidentiality with regard to all Members and guests profiles and requirements and to protect them from the media
• To ensure all guests are accommodated, according to Club standard
• To become fully conversant with all Front of House related systems and equipment
• To ensure all relevant issues relating to housekeeping and maintenance are communicated appropriately
• To ensure that any specific requirements relating to the guests room are communicated in advance to the Head Housekeeper

To ensure that all guest complaints, queries and requests are dealt with professionally and quickly To be fully conversant with all the dining options, club facilities, packages and upcoming events

• To assist the Reception Manager with taking short lead meetings and private dining bookings
• To handle incoming enquiries for The Private Screening Room
• To be fully aware of which events are taking place at the Club in order to advise Members when requested

Salary - £28.858.Hours: 40 hours per week. Overtime will be paid either in lieu or salary. Holidays: 23 Holidays and 8 Bank Holidays. Meals: Provided on duty. Uniform: Provided. Probation: 3 months. Start Date: End of Apr Rota: 5 Day Rota in 7 Days - 2 days off (please note that you will have to work weekends when required and you will have 2 days off in a given week).
