The Receptionist is a key operational pillar of the business, acting as the primary interface between tenants, visitors, service providers, and management.

This role goes well beyond traditional reception duties and combines tenant relationship management, operational coordination, basic financial administration, IT liaison, and service-quality control.

The position requires a highly organised, proactive, and service-oriented professional capable of helping with day-to-day building operations while maintaining a premium client experience expected from a top-tier serviced office environment in the City of London.

4. Cleaning & Housekeeping Oversight

5. Meeting Rooms & Common Areas Management

6. Basic Accounting & Administrative Tasks

7. IT & Service Providers Liaison

Additional Responsibilities (Value-Add Elements)

  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and tenant satisfaction
  • Support management during audits, inspections, or site visits
  • Assist with onboarding of new tenants (welcome packs, orientation, procedures)
  • Uphold building policies, health & safety standards, and confidentiality requirements
  • Represent the building professionally at all times

Skills & Experience Required

Essential

  • Previous experience in:
  • Serviced offices
  • Corporate reception
  • Property or facilities management environment
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Confidence in handling tenants, suppliers, and senior stakeholders
  • Good working knowledge of:
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Booking systems and basic admin tools
  • High attention to detail and professional presentation

Desirable

  • Experience in premium or City of London office environments
  • Basic understanding of accounting / invoicing processes
  • Experience coordinating cleaning, maintenance, or IT suppliers
  • Familiarity with health & safety and building operations
