Reed Business support is thrilled to be supporting our valued client based in Barry in their search for a customs and logistics administrator to support its logistics team. What you'll be doing:
Manage the Goods Receiving Area and notify stakeholders upon the arrival of goods.
Input data related to all goods receiving and shipping into the Company Inventory Module and other relevant databases.
Ensure import and export compliance through coordination with various Customs brokers.
Handle the control of Inwards Processing and Customs Warehouse including the preparation of Commercial Invoices, Bill of Discharges, and document management.
Ensure compliance with the Transport of Dangerous Goods regulations.
Raise Purchase Orders for logistics consumables as needed.
Contribute to accurate stock data management using various software systems.
Upload shipping data as required and assist with warehouse and shipping activities.
Assist in the improvement of existing systems and practices.
Perform additional duties as requested by Management to meet business demands.
What you'll need:
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Strong time management abilities.
Proficiency in PC literacy, including ERP systems such as AvSight, SAP, Quantum, etc.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to identify problems and provide effective solutions.
