Our client, a well-established and highly respected financial planning practice based in Edinburgh, is looking for an organised and detail-driven IFA Administrator / Paraplanner Support professional to join their expanding team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to build a long-term career within financial services. The role offers hands-on experience supporting paraplanners and advisers, with a clear path toward progressing into a full Paraplanner position or becoming an expert administrator.

The role

As part of the support team, you will play a key part in keeping the advice process running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and updating accurate client records
  • Handling incoming communication and provider requests
  • Preparing valuations, review packs and meeting documentation
  • Assisting paraplanners with case preparation
  • Submitting and tracking new business applications
  • Ensuring all electronic filing and documentation is compliant and well organised

What we're looking for

  • Experience within financial services ideally within a similar setting, but not essential
  • Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively
  • A proactive, professional individual with a willingness to learn and develop
