Receptionist (Temporary)
Location: Theale
Rate: 13- 14 per hour

We are seeking an experienced and confident Receptionist to join us on a temporary basis for a few weeks in Theale. This is a busy, varied role where you'll be the welcoming face of the organisation, working alongside a supportive and friendly team.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for all visitors, delivering excellent service with a positive, professional attitude.
• Manage all incoming calls to the office.
• Maintain a tidy, well-presented reception area.
• Arrange lunches and provide refreshments for meetings and events.
• Handle incoming and outgoing post, including arranging couriers when required.
• Serve as a First Aider/Fire Warden (training provided).
• Coordinate the reception rota to ensure holiday and lunch cover.
• Assist colleagues and visitors with office-related queries.
• Process invoices, support debt chasing, and update contact lists and directories.
• Print, bind, and prepare documents as necessary.
• Arrange hotel accommodation for staff.
• Support the Admin team with various ad-hoc tasks to help maintain a positive workplace culture and a well-presented office.
• Skills & Experience
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
• Excellent communication skills and a confident telephone manner.
• Professional, friendly, and well-presented.
• Proactive problem-solver with a "can-do" attitude.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Self-motivated team player with a supportive approach.
