Description: TPP Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a national charity as they recruit an Office Manager to oversee the smooth running of their London office and a small number of other properties in the Southeast.

Work setting: London-based / Majority office-based (minimum 3 days per week)
Contract: Part-time, 28 hours per week (4 days, option to work over 5 shorter days)

You'll be responsible for a characterful, bright and airy office with an outdoor courtyard. The organisation is warm, inclusive and people-centred including a no dress code policy that reflects its culture of trust and authenticity.

The role
As Office Manager, you will ensure a safe, welcoming and well managed working environment. You will:
  • Oversee office facilities, suppliers and contracts
  • Manage daily office operations, post, security and maintenance
  • Lead on Health & Safety compliance, including for home-workers
  • Support DSE assessments and reasonable adjustments
  • Maintain clear office processes and business continuity plans
  • Support the upkeep of a small portfolio of non-office properties and liaise with tenants
  • Lead the charity's Green (Environmental) Team
  • Line manage the Office Administrator
  • Manage office and property budgets
About you
You'll bring:
  • Experience in office management
  • Knowledge of facilities or property management (or ability to learn quickly)
  • Strong Health & Safety understanding and experience
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confident supplier, budget and contract management
  • A collaborative, inclusive approach
  • A passion for supporting work that improves older people's lives
