Office Manager

Temp to Perm

Start Date: Thursday 12th February

Location: Westminster

Zest Education is supporting a well-established secondary school in Westminster as they seek a Office Manager to join them on a temp-to-perm basis, starting Thursday, 12th February.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative and organisational skills who thrives in a busy school environment and is ready to take ownership of the smooth running of the school office.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the school office
  • Providing line management to the Receptionist
  • Ensuring the school is presented professionally at all times
  • Delivering high-quality administrative support to staff, students, parents and external stakeholders
  • Contributing to the wider ethos and aims of the school
  • Supporting the development of an efficient, dynamic and welcoming learning community
What We're Looking For
  • Experience working in, or managing, an office environment
  • School experience is highly desirable
  • Arbor experience is an advantage
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to lead by example
  • A proactive, professional and positive approach
Contract & Hours
  • Full time, Monday to Friday
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • 8:00am - 4:00pm (30-minute unpaid lunch)
  • Term time + 4 weeks
  • Temp to perm - the successful interim candidate will be eligible to apply for the permanent post
  • Salary: PO3, Spine Point 32-35
  • £40,916 - £44,335 FTE
  • £38,136 - £41,323 pro rata

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
