| Description: | About the Role We are seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Internal Sales & Logistics Administrator to support our sales, logistics and operations teams within a specialist high-technology distribution business. You will provide essential administrative and customer support, maintain accurate CRM and stock records, and take responsibility for the logistics of both consumable and capital equipment orders. This is a key office-based role, playing an important part in ensuring customers receive a professional, accurate and responsive service from initial enquiry through to delivery. You will work closely with colleagues across sales, logistics and supply chain, supporting both UK and international customers. Accuracy, strong organisation and a proactive mindset are essential, as is the flexibility to provide in-office cover during team holidays to ensure continuity of service. Main Responsibilities • Handle inbound customer enquiries by phone and email in a professional and timely manner • Prepare, issue and follow up customer quotations • Support the sales of consumable product lines • Process sales orders and invoices accurately • Coordinate the packaging, shipment and dispatch of goods, ensuring correct documentation • Track order progress and proactively update customers • Maintain accurate records within the CRM system, logging enquiries, orders and customer interactions • Support stock control, including monitoring stock levels and forward requirements • Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotations, monitor lead times and manage deliveries • Assist with logistics for both consumable and capital equipment orders Experience and Skills Required • Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Office applications • Excellent attention to detail, with strong numeracy and literacy skills • Confidence working with figures, invoices and purchase orders • Clear written and verbal communication skills • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities • Willingness to learn new systems, including CRM software • A proactive, reliable and team-focused approach Previous experience in internal sales, logistics, order processing, supply chain or a technical environment is desirable but not essential. Experience using CRM systems is an advantage. What We Offer
