2 X Medical Receptionist / Administrator (20 hrs pw)

My Client based BT22 area of Co Down require 2 Part-time Medical Receptionist/ Administrators. These are temporary posts with the view to becoming permanent.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

• General reception duties - greeting patients in person and on telephone, making, cancelling appointments, providing information regarding practice services
• Maintaining and updating files both computerised and manual.
• Typing letters, memos referrals, and confidential reports.
• Sorting and distribution of post
• Collect and collate data as and when required.
• Liaise with other disciplines, outsides agencies and departments, in a helpful and professional manner.

Essential Criteria

• 5 GCSE's including English & Maths (Grade A-C)
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Fully computer literate
• Evidence of working in a team & on own initiative
• Excellent communication & organisational skills
• Flexibility to cover sickness & holidays

Desirable Criteria

• Experience in a medical environment (working within a GP surgery advantageous) although full training will be given

Post 1 - 20 hrs pw

Wed & Fri 8am - 6pm

Post 2 - 20 hrs pw

Thurs & Fri 8am - 6pm

Salary £12.21 per hour (increase to £12.71 after completion of satisfactory probation period)
