HR Manager

We are recruiting for an experienced and proactive HR Manager to lead the HR function within a well-established manufacturing business. This newly created role offers the chance to build HR systems, processes, and culture from the ground up.

This hands-on role is perfect for someone who enjoys supporting managers, driving engagement, and shaping a positive workplace in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead performance management, appraisals, and employee development

• Manage attendance, absence, and employee relations

• Maintain HR compliance, policies, and employee records

• Support recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning

• Promote engagement, wellbeing, and positive culture

Requirements:

• Proven HR experience, ideally in manufacturing/industrial environments

• Strong knowledge of UK employment law

• Confident managing performance, absence, and conduct issues

• CIPD Level 5 or above (or working towards) desirable
