Order Processing Administration Assistant

A rapidly expanding organisation is seeking a permanent Order Processing Administration Assistant to join their team in Eye, Suffolk. The role offers a salary of up to 30,000.

This position involves managing the daily administrative tasks for the Senior Operations Team, ensuring smooth and efficient operation.

Ideal candidates will possess exceptional organisational and administrative skills, complemented by strong communication abilities across all seniority levels.

Role responsibilities of the Order Processing Administration Assistant include:

• Working with Transport and Warehouse Supervisors to ensure the smooth process of inputting sales orders and following through where questions/problems arise
• Collating paperwork and statements for accidents and near misses
• Responsible for all company notice boards, ensuring information is up to date
• Daily task of checking for recorded telephone messages and ensuring these messages are passed to the correct people
• Ordering site consumables and tracking costs via Excel spreadsheet
• Assisting with organisation of Employee Surveys and collecting and collating information and populating spreadsheets

Person Specification of the Order Processing Administration Assistant:

• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with team members and supervisors
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling paperwork, data, and daily tasks
• Strong organisational skills
• Reliable and proactive in following up on questions or issues and passing information promptly
• Comfortable with using Excel and other basic office tools to collate and manage information
