Responsibilities
Accurately process weekly and monthly payroll within internal deadlines.
Maintain and update employee payroll and HR records to ensure data accuracy.
Calculate wages, deductions, overtime, and statutory payments in line with current legislation.
Ensure full compliance with payroll legislation and internal company policies.
Respond to employee payroll queries in a professional and timely manner.
Support reporting processes and year-end payroll activities.
Maintain strict confidentiality and high standards of accuracy in all payroll-related tasks.
Requirements
Previous experience as a payroll assistant is essential.
Proficient in Sage Payroll software (required).
Strong understanding of payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
High level of numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work independently.
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
Commitment to working consistently across the designated part-time schedule.
