This role will be based at our head office in Leeds city centre, just 5 minutes' walk from the train station. Working hours will be 7.30 - 3.30, Monday - Friday.

How you'll make a difference

Working within our Document Services (mail room) function, you will efficiently handle inbound Society documents ensuring these are forwarded to the relevant departments as well as processing outbound mail for our members and internal departments.

The role will involve building strong relationships with operational colleagues across the Society and becoming knowledgeable on our Societies different business areas. You'll be given lots of support and opportunities to develop along with training to use specialist mail room equipment which is used industry wide.

What will you bring to the role?
  • Experience of working in a mail room, postal or distribution role
  • Administration experience with excellent record keeping skills
  • Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent organisation skills with ability to multi task, work under pressure, meet deadlines and ensure service standards are maintained
  • Confidence in communicating and building relationships with both external and internal stakeholders.
  • Full computer literacy with previous experience working with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel and PowerPoint
