Hays are working with a reputable organisation in Shrewsbury who are urgently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Administrator to join our team on a temporary basis. This is a hands-on role supporting the HR function with administrative tasks, data management, and employee lifecycle coordination. The ideal candidate will be available to start immediately and bring strong organisational skills, confidentiality, and a collaborative approach.
Your new role

  • Provide administrative support across all areas of HR
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR systems
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Support recruitment coordination, including interview scheduling and candidate communication
  • Prepare HR documentation such as contracts, letters, and reports
  • Respond to employee queries and escalate where appropriate
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and internal policies
  • Liaise with payroll and other departments as needed
What you'll need to succeed
  • Previous experience in an HR administrative role
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Available to start immediately
