This is a full-time and permanent position, Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm for a Payroll and Timesheet Administrator for an established company within the construction sector.

Your role in the company is critical to ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll and employee timesheets.

Responsible for collecting, calculating, and entering data while maintaining confidentiality. Therefore, your attention to detail and accuracy are of utmost importance to ensure the successful operation of the company.

If you have previous experience with payroll and timesheet administration, experience of Easybuild, you could be the ideal fit for this position, who can thrive in this role.

YOUR NEW ROLE

  • Managing employee timesheets and attendance records

  • Prepare and process payroll for your employees - This includes calculating pay, deductions, and contributions, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and employment regulations.

  • Accurate record-keeping of payroll data and employee information is also necessary for effective payroll processing.

  • Generating reports for management regarding payroll expenses, employee hours worked, overtime, and absences is also essential for monitoring and managing payroll expenses

  • As the first point of contact for employee queries regarding timesheets and payroll - it is also essential to provide timely and accurate information to employees and resolve any issues or discrepancies.

  • As and when required you may also need to assist in the maintenance and updates of payroll systems to ensure efficient processing of data and suggest improvements to payroll processing procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experienced in payroll processing and timesheet management, preferably within the construction sector

  • Hold relevant qualifications in payroll, finance or accounting (ADVANTAGEOUS)

  • Have knowledge and awareness of tax regulations, labour laws and employment standards related to payroll

  • Confident user, knowledgeable of Excel, payroll software and employment standards related to payroll

  • Excellent attention to detail and numerical skills for accurate processing of employee timesheets, attendance records, and payroll
