Our client a forefront leader in the Environmental/Landscape Management Industry are currently looking for a Safety Team Assistant paying up to £13.46 per hour PAYE depending on experience.
This will be working on a long-term contract working 40 hours per week with a view it will become more permanent for the right person.
The ideal candidate will assist the Health, Safety and Resources Manager in the effective management of Health and Safety and other systems within the organisation. (Full training will be provided)
Provided with a work vehicle you will be Conducting safety visits on Employees and Business Partners throughout the UK.
Duties include
Carry out compliance audits on company assets, vehicles, tracking devices, depots and offices.
Conducting quality monitoring audits on client sites.
Collating information such as safety statistics and accurately inputting data in to computerised systems using various spreadsheets and computer packages.
Keeping spreadsheets and online portals up to date.
Key person to liaise with suppliers for the organisations needs and requirements
Collate and analyse fuel data, CO2 and emissions data for various clients
Attending safety meetings, internal and external when required
To present inductions in person and online to employees
To assist in medical surveillance of employees.
Processing/appealing road traffic fines where required.
Carrying out Noise and Vibration assessments of assets.
To assess the driving skills of the workforce.
